Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using Humble Voice ("the Software"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Software.

2. License

Humble Media grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Software on Macs that you personally own or control. The license is perpetual for the major version you purchased; future major versions may require a new purchase.

3. Where you bought it

Humble Voice is sold two ways, and which one you used determines the terms that apply to your purchase.

Bought directly from humblevoice.app: these Terms govern your purchase, including the trial and refund sections below.

Bought from the Mac App Store: your purchase is governed by Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, and refunds are handled by Apple rather than by us. There is no free trial on that version — the purchase is the license. Sections 4 and 5 below do not apply to you; the rest of these Terms still describe how the Software behaves.

4. Trial (direct purchases)

The 7-day free trial gives you full functionality without an account or payment method. After the trial period, the Software will stop performing transcription until a license is purchased.

5. Purchases & refunds (direct purchases)

Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy. You may request a refund within 30 days of purchase by emailing support@humblemedia.net.

6. Updates

All future 1.x updates are included with your purchase. We make no guarantee about the timing or content of updates.

7. Restrictions

You may not redistribute, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer, or attempt to bypass the licensing mechanism of the Software.

8. Disclaimer of warranty

The Software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

9. Limitation of liability

In no event will Humble Media be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the Software.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
